The Disorganizers in Colorado are most pleased to have the opportunity to host WeSTOC XI in Golden, Colorado…have we got a Ride for you!
It’s going to be hard to equal the disorganizers' great efforts last year at San Luis Obispo, and all the wonderful WeSTOC gatherings that proceeded it…but we’re really going to try. In the tradition of Minden and San Luis Obispo WeSTOC XI will also be in September. This week affords us the best hotel rates of the year, minimal Winnebago encounters and temperatures averaging a high of 84 and low of 59.
The dates are September 4th through 6th, 2006 at the Marriott Denver West in Golden, on the north side of I-70 at exit 263, right up against the foothills. (GPS: N39-44.426 W105-09.689)

Monday September 4, 2006
- 3 p.m. - Hotel check-in available
- 1 – 7 p.m. - Giddy Arrivals! WeSTOC XI registration just past Check-in counter (or other room as noted on Reader Board in lobby)
- 7 – 8 p.m. - Rider’s Meeting, weather permitting, in the wash area in the reserved area behind the hotel
Tuesday September 5, 2006
- ? a.m. - Get up whenever you feel like it!
- Saunter down to the “Map Room” tentatively the Beaver Creek room on the first level next to the indoor pool/exercise room.
- Coordinate rides and companions and grab a bite of breakfast at the hotel or any of the biker-friendly Roadhouses or restaurants on the great Mad Maps provided.
Wednesday September 6, 2006
- ? a.m. - Get up whenever you feel like it! GO Ride!
- 4 p.m. - Show and Shine bike judging
- 5 p.m. - Group photos
- 6 p.m. - Attitude Adjustment, Social Hour and Best Lies time.
- 7 – 11 p.m. - Fabulous Banquet, award program. (Note: NO admission without banquet ticket!)
Thursday September 7, 2006
- Hotel checkout by noon, tearful farewells, maybe a few more lies
